Robin (NL) is active as a composer, musician and designer of artistic systems. Over the last years he established a repertoire of various multidisciplinary collaborations. With a main focus on sound art and interactive systems he was involved in projects that range from installation art to interactive dance pieces, some of which were shown at the STRP Festival, Robodock and at Dansmakers Amsterdam. His works explore states where acoustic, digital and analog signals intertwine and form in to one body of sound. These hybrid aesthetics originate from his roots in improvised music. As a musician, he is connected to various ensembles like Radio Kootwijk Live, Distant Drummers and Odd One Out and has performed at several places like Bimhuis, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and Trouw.
